Classic Love Songs
Love songs are usually related to happiness and love; sad love songs about relationship breakdowns are also contained in love songs. These songs, however, could be categorized separately as ‘heartbreak songs’. Another type of love songs are the ‘bawdy songs’; these songs emphasize more about the physical facet of love compared to emotional.

God Only Knows: It’s a more popular love song in the album ‘Pet Sounds’ (1966) released by ‘The Beach Band’, a united states surf rock band. Carl Wilson was charge vocalist of the song and lyrics were compiled by Tony Usher. Brian Wilson did the composition and production work.
Carrie: A Swedish hard rock band named ‘Europe’ released this song in the year 1987. This song in the album, ‘The Final Countdown’, ranked 1st and 3rd in 1987, on the ‘Radio and Records chart’ and ‘Billboard Hot 100′ chart respectively. Joey Tempest the vocalist and Mic Michaeli (keyboardist) co-wrote the song in 1985. On an earlier tour of Sweden, the song was played only with the help of vocals and keyboard. The ultimate version of the song released in the album, ‘The Final Countdown’ included the guitars (John Norum), drums (Ian Haugland) and bass guitars (John Leven).
And I Love Her: It is a song released around 1964 by ‘The Beatles’; it was the fifth track from their album, ‘A Hard Day’s Night’. Paul McCartney was charge vocalist as well as played bass guitar with this song. George Martin was the producer, while John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison played the acoustic rhythm guitar, bongos and acoustic lead guitar respectively.
Let’s Face the background music and Dance: The song ‘Let’s Face the Music and Dance’ was compiled by Irving Berlin and sung by Fred Astaire for ‘Follow the Fleet’, a film released around 1936; later it was also utilized in the 1981 film, ‘Pennies from Heaven’.
Earth Angel (Are you Mine): Our planet Angel (Are you Mine) is a 1954 song released by ‘The Penguins’ which reached the peak of popularity in 1955.
